Hazelnut and Honey Truffles

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup Nutella

• 1/4 cup honey

• 1/2 cup fold-ins: coconut, chopped hazelnuts, chopped walnuts, crumbled wafer cookies, etc.

• 1/2 cup powdered sugar

• 1/2 cup chocolate candy coating

• 1/2 cup cocoa powder

*Measure precisely, as too little or too much honey will affect the consistency.

DIRECTIONS

Place Nutella and honey in a mixing bowl and mix with a rubber spatula until well incorporated and mixture thickens. Fold in desired filling and mix well. Using a small scoop, form into small balls. Roll balls in cocoa powder and powdered sugar, or dip balls into chocolate candy coating. Refrigerate slightly before serving. Fold in small amounts of extracts for added flavors.
